Well-known poetry maverick David Merritt is back in town this May! He'll be installed in our garage for three days creating poetry and making books out of reclaimed material for the masses and for you. Pop by to say hello and grab a unique book for yourself.
The whole experience will end on Sunday with a poetry reading by David at 3pm. Light refreshments provided.

A bit about David ⬇️
Poet David Merritt has a broad, strong back, well suited for gardening, driving old Landrovers and reinventing the economics of poetry. He makes bespoke publications from recycled Readers Digest Condensed book covers and banana box cardboards, often in public places on a footpath benchseat or from the bonnet of his car at a market. Landroverfarm Press has now published 110 distinct titles from unique single-page A3 publications to collections, boxsets, poetry racks, poetry bricks, and anthologies.
👂 This event is a part of our on-going Ears Wide Open series, bringing poetry, music and local voices to the Ponsonby community.
